Every Dog Has Its Day
With young adults treating their pets like any other member of their family, unexpected companies are spending big money to enter the pet product space. Pet industry leaders like Petco are also embracing the “pet humanization” trend and betting that pet owners will continue to spend more even in times of inflation and economic uncertainty. And have you ever thought about bringing your dog to work with you? Financial Times recently spoke with a financial services professional who says, “in [her] next job [she] will consider the ability to bring a dog to work quite a key feature, [as] it signifies the culture of the company.”
